The day was chilly and grey. The rain blew sideways… but it couldn’t dampen our spirits!

A sincere thank you! With support from our friends the team at Priscilla and Company gratefully collected $4,837 in donations for the Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life.

On June 11, 2016 we proudly cheered on our courageous cancer survivors at the Vernon Relay for Life. They led the relay with a victory lap and then we all joined in for more laps, and more laps, and ‘Laughter Yoga’ and a even a little Zumba. It was a western themed event this year, so we put on a cowboy hats and ate spicy chilly. We smiled and laughed and hugged too many times to ever feel the cold. After a while, the sun even decided to shine.

By the end of the event, RE/MAX Vernon raised $10,874.95! 

Vernon area reached 100% of it’s Relay for Life fundraising goal, $30,528!
