SUMMARY OF POSITION
This employment opportunity is a permanent, full time position (35+ hours per week). This is a developmental role with growth opportunity. As a member of a small, dynamic team, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator will assist in the development of real estate listing presentations, client communications, marketing & promotional materials, digital marketing & real estate advertising. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will report to the Managing Broker, and be in regular contact with the administrative team and clients.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related discipline (communications, marketing, public relations) and 3+ years of experience in digital marketing & communications. Or, a diploma and 7+ years of related experience.
- Business acumen. Knowledge of real estate or law will be an asset
- Calm, positive & highly motivated, self-starter
- Capable of delivering on a diverse range of projects often involving tight deadlines & evolving priorities
- Observant, flexible & willing to learn
- Excellent computer skills including Windows, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient in oral & written communication
- Able to pass a criminal record check

- Comprehensive knowledge of WordPress and Google Analytics
- Photography with interest shooting architecture, interior spaces, landscaping
- Photo editing experience and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Familiarity with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g. Top Producer)
- Working knowledge of Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey
- Work effectively with vendors, advertising media, suppliers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creative writing for branding/marketing materials, blogs, & real estate ads
- Develop corporate content and engage audiences through social media platforms
- Website administration. Oversee corporate website infrastructure maintenance, help trouble-shoot & work with technical teams to resolve issues
- Monitor digital advertising, corporate website, and social media traffic
- Conduct internet research, gather analytics, report & make recommendations
- Monitor community & real estate industry news. Extract pertinent information, identify trends
- Provide support to the Listing Department as needed: visit new listings, write marketing materials, photography staging, photo editing
- Open House event coordination & set-up
- Office administration

WAGE
Starting wage range $15.50 – $16.50
Post-Probation (3 months) $16.50 – $17.50
Post Development (~6 month) $17.50 – $20.00
